i've read your members question from the 24th feb. 2005 about the 'resistend trichomoniasisTrichomoniasis' and i wondered if you came to a solution of that problem. me and my girlfriend are suffering the same disease and unfortenaly the docors we've been seeing have not been confronted with a problem like this before. they haven't heard about a 'resistend trichomoniases' at all. even the proffesor of a majorMajor tears Major-gesic clinic (UZ GENT, belgium) never heard about trichomoniasisTrichomoniasis beeing resistend to 'fasigyn'.
we have been treated with:
1) fragyl 2gr one dose
2) fragyl 250mg 3 times a day / 14 days long
3) fasigyn 2gr one dose
4) tiberal 2gr one dose
5) fasigyn 2gr one dose + a daktarin creme
this all is spreaded over more than one year and a half. obviously the doctors here don't know what to do as they seem to keep on giving the same dose of diffirent drugs.
i hope you could help your patient allready and maybe have some adveice or any suggestions that could be helpfull to us.
we would truly appreciate it. thank you.
