urethral wart

Hi there,
I noticed a urethral wart in July approx 0.5cm below the entrance to the urethra. Went to see a urologist at the very end of July, he removed it using electrocautery. Now, nearly 1.5 months later, there was a new larger set of urethral warts. I visited my urologist again today, who removed them with electrocautery, but said I might need a urethral meatotomy to get enough air. This seems extreme...I'd rather not take this option. Also, I spoke to him about getting some imiquimod cream (he had never heard of it) but is going to write me a Rx. I've seen mixed data on using this for urethral warts.
