When you have a urine screen done at the doc for a possible urinary tract infection do they also check for std's, or can that even show up on a urine analysis???

Depends on what you mean by a urine screen.  If you mean a urinalysis, basically what you are looking for there is the presence of white blood cells in your urine.  This might be true for either a UTI or a STD.  Be wary here, however.  Many times people positive for STDs will be negative on a urinalysis.  So while it's a good, cheap, fast test, it's not nearly as good as an actual NAAT test for STDs.

If you mean a urine culture, that usually will not grow the bacteria which causes STDs because the culture medium (the type of culture) is not the same.  That will usually just pick up the bacteria which commonly causes a UTI.
