the most effective treatments were when i was treated for chlamydia, the "z-pack", as it's called, which almost cleared my symptoms but they ended up coming back. i noticed improvement the day i took them, and they took 3 days to practically "clear" my symptoms, but then the symptoms came back in less than a week both times.
the shot for gonorrhea gave me numbness in my fingers and actually seemed to intensify my symptoms. i'm holding out for the metro/flagyl to work but am not harboring a lot of confidence, as it seems to get worse by the day.
i'm at the end of my rope and the anxiety is getting worse than the symptoms, which are ample. please HELP. suggestions, diagnoses, anything please. i know it's bacterial and it is ruining my life. that's about it.
At this point you need to be following up on this with an urologist. it's inappropriate for providers to be treating you for infections that you aren't testing positive for with such long lasting symptoms.
thanks grace. i went to the ER. after a single day of doxy i'm already 90% better. they gave me a two week Rx.
planned parenthood is the devil, and i will never go back or trust them again (although i really didn't in the first place, i just thought i had no other choice).
Most PP's are awesome. they are providing a much needed service to communities. It's unfortunate that the provider you saw at the one you chose wasn't giving you worthy service at this point. In general, you get terrific care at most PP's.
also, i'm worried about all this antibiotic treatment, and will it make my infection more resistant to subsequent treatments?
