used needle?

hello.

i have 2 questions if its ok...

i was tested yesterday for syphilis after 6 weeks past an encounter... i read here that 6 weeks is conclusive but the nurse advised of 12 weeks... is it because im having an old/ different test?

also... i dont recall having seeing the needle but what are the chances that needle was used previpusly on another patient?  has this happen?

please help and thanks.

yes but my original question was... is it a valid concern to think the nurse made a mistake and drew blood from my arm with a used needle?
