what are these small bumps?

by scared220, Nov 29, 2008 12:45PM
I recently noticed very small red bumps that kind of look like small pimples on my inner thighs close to where my leg meets my vagina, but not actually on the labia or anus, just around there. They are not wart-like, they are not *****, and they don't look blistery, but I'm so afraid of what they could be. They are also not painful and they don't itch. I have no had unprotected sex in over three months, so I'm not sure if this could be some form of an STD or not, but I've never heard of an STD with such mild symptoms. Any idea what it could be?

It could be a fungal infection, shaving bumps (if you shave the area), an allergic reaction, etc.  Unfortunately, bumps are caused by many things, and you need to see a doctor to find out what it is.  I agree that its not sounding an awful lot like an std, but you do need to get checked to be sure.
