Oral infection with HSV-2 is rare; the large majority of oral herpes infections are due to HSV-1. You have misunderstood something you read about HSV-2 virus versus antibodies in the mouth; what you say makes no sense.
That said, I don't know the cause of the 'small cuts' you describe. It doesn't sound like herpes, and apparently your PCP didn't see anything that looks like herpes. Based on what you say, I see no reason to test you for HSV infection unless you develop symptoms that suggest a new HSV infection. In the off chance you were infected, a test at 4 weeks is too soon to detect it; 12-16 weeks are required for the HSV blood test to become positive. Further, if you have a positive test for either virus, whether in 4 weeks or 12 weeks, it won't mean you caught it during the event you describe; it could just indicate past infection acquired any time. For these reasons, I recommend against HSV testing in cases like yours.
Bottom line: Don't worry about herpes unless you develop more typical symptoms. Continue to follow up with your PCP and follow his or her advice.

this is event the only event i am concerned with bc i had a girlfirend for 7 years prior to this encounter and she was my only sex partner.
what about the idea of sores, can someone have herpes sores in their mouth and not show any on lips or mouth area?
it hurts slightly when i first urinate, but only slightly and it could be from the alcohol burn. How long should these symptoms persist before the idea NGU or urethritis or syphillis can come up. gonorrhea is likely out because of no pus in the stream.
i have had nausea and slight of appetite, no fever,
the more i read online, the more stress i have and sleep i lose.
i wake up in the middle of the night with stress.
i am taking lexapro and zanax.
how about the likelihood of saliva traveling into the pee hole and carrying the herpes disease. is hsv 1 the disease that causes painful lesions in the genitals or is that exclusively hsv2?
if no red bumps or lesions show by week 4, how likely am i in the clear?
if the person that gave me fellatio has the hsv2, how low are the chances after one encounter. how often is the virus shed in the mouth? what if the person has poor dental health? no blood was shown on anything.
is it hsv 1 or 2 or both that causes damage to infants? thank you doctor. i commend your work.

I won't have any further replies. Best wishes.
the back pain has gone away,
on herp1 symptoms is the back pain constant or does it go away?
if a woman has h1 and no sores, is there a negligible risk?
