At this point what's known about hpv is that 91% of infections are undetectable by the testing methods we have now by the 2 year after infection mark. What that means is we aren't 100% certain but it's assumed for the most part that if you can't detect the virus in testing that the chances of transmitting it to a partner are too low to worry much about.
A recent study showed that if condomsCondoms Female condoms were applied when the clothes went off - and not just for actual penetration - that they protected against the transmission of hpv by 90%.
We have only been together for a couple of months. We were not being safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex when i found out that i had warts. What are the chances that she did not get warst from me in those couple of months we wernt being safe. She hasnt been in for a checkup but has an appointment in 3 weeks. Should we be worried about her getting genital warts.
If you had your warts removed and they haven't came back within a year then chances are good that your body has cleared the virus and it's not going to be an issue ( on average low risk hpv infections clear from the body in 10 months ).
How old is your gf? has she had the hpv vaccine yet? How long have the two of you been together?
