zits on penis

For the past few years I have had bumps that look like zits on my penis come and go. I usually only get one or two at a time on different spots of the penis. The bumps go away in a day or two, and are not noticeable unless i search for them. They do not itch, and will only hurt if i rub or irritate it. They are very small. I also have sebaceous glands. The doctor told me that they were zits when I was tested, but i fear she could have been wrong. I was pee and blood tested about 2 to 3 weeks after an encounter and again blood tested 2 months after for accuracy. My question is has anyone else heard of or had zits on their genitals? also could these zits be an std? Is this a symptom of any std?

Does not sound like a symptom of a STD, but follo wup with yur Dr if concerned.

I used to get zits on my scrotum - had them most of the time from around age 15 till my early 20s, and only rarely since then.  One did show up on the shaft of my penis when I was around 30.  I went panicked to the doctor, thinking it might be an STD, although I'd been monogamous for years.  The doctor said, "nope, it's just a pimple".  After a while it went away.
