First Appt the Journey Begins

Today as some may know I went to see my primary care doctor for the first time this second go around in hopes of being dxs. Well, it went just as I expected for the most part. I got told I need to see a Nero, and I had blood drawn. She wanted to test my b12, and do another ANA. The only thing different was I was told that she wanted to take a second look at rheumatoid related issues due to my joint pain.

So, soon I will have the results to my bloodwork, and tomorrow I call the program I am on to see about a Nero. I just pray that getting to a Nero won't be hard. I also will be looking up rheumatoid related disorders, so I know a little more about them. Thanks everyone for your support while I am stuck in limboland. May god bless you all.

Thanks, yeah I have looked into lupus and some of my sxs really do fit. My mom said she thought they ruled it out the first time around. I think so too, but I am grateful their taking a second look. I believe the first ANA blood test results had a positive ANA and speckle pattern which my research shows lupus fits perfect.

What is a glutton free diet exactly? I am willing to try anything to feel better, and well it would be great to lose a few pounds I weigh 147 now. It's crazy I have gained 10 pounds in the last two years. I know that's not much but it is to me. Lol!!!

Someone told me that the weight gain meant I didn't have an autoimmune disorder. People say some crazy stuff just becuase they don't believe I am sick. But that's ok I know that everything is for a reason, and this can only make me stronger.

To be honest though lupus scares me. I had prepared myself for ms but my joint pain don't match up. I just don't know I guess I need to research more on lupus. I am grateful for all the support. I sincerely appreciate the advice people have given me.

Thanks again, may The Lord bless you as you head to recovery. Praying for you.

Hi hun well it sounds a good meeting to me.

Look up Lupus as this is a rheumatoid related disorder, and would give you joint pain.

I am pleased for you, something is happening...just keep the faith and keep positive. OK. Please stay with us, so we can support you.

I would not have gone through my journey without my friends on here.

Also look at your diet.

IF you can go GLUTEN FREE.

IF you have inflammation and rheumatoid illness gluten aggravates this. I went gluten free and found such a difference to my energy, and even my weight. I lost 12 kilos in a month lol.....

Gluten is bad for inflammatory diseases even MS.

Also if you can afford it, try and have some allergy food screening...as some foods can make rehumatoid problems worse.

No its onwards and upwards....you can do it you got here the rest is easy lol. Big hugs Kimberley.xxx
