Newbie needing support to Gingerstidd

I've been fairly healthy up til 7 - 8 mo. ago, can't seem to get an MRI or find a Doctor that will do some deep investigating.  I'm frustrated but trying to stay positive. My symptoms are starting to get real bad.  I am on neurotin and it has helped slightly but symptoms are getting more intense so I don't know what to do.  Thanks

I suspect a possibility of TB.  I started feeling ill Sept/2011 and gradually got more symptoms and now have things are getting intense.   The first symptom was an enlarged gland on right side of neck (salival gland), then strange symptoms and swelling under chin.  Next was extremely dry sinuses to the point where they burned, I had a dental xray which showed extreme cloudiness in sinuses.  Things continued to worsen to the point where I still have the extreme dry and painful sinuses, bad sensations in back of neck into back of head, also spine pain and muscle burning/pain and some bone pain.  Some pain in joints, some muscle weakness and getting harder to move.  I don't know where to get tested for TB, can't seem to get Doctors to listen.  Does this sound like a possibility of TB?

Hi, this sounds to me like classic Sjorgrens Syndrome.

The swollen saliva gland, dry sinsues, back pain, muscle weakness, pain in joints, burning pain from neuoropathy.

I would look at getting a blood test done for autoimmune Sjorgrens syndrome.

TB usually doesnt present until it is well established, yes some of the symptoms could be, but the dry sinuses, swollen glands and neuro stuff sounds more like Sjorgrens or similar autoimmune problem. Check the link out ok. Hugs Mariax

I hope to hear more about you. I'm sorry you're in limbo but if you have to be in limbo you've found a great forum.I'm sorry you're having all these symptoms but try to stay positive and know that we're all here for you.

I will be lifting you in prayer and the needs of getting a Neuro or good doctor that will listen and get you the tests/mri's needed etc.

Maria is wonderful and a great source of info with great wisdom.  They're  many others that will come along and offer help and advice.
