Auditory and visual (as well as sometimes in the other of the 5 sense as well) hallucinations are part of the criteria of schizophrenia. However, many other concerns occur in schizophrenia and hallucinations can occur in other conditions, both physical and psychiatric. If you have concerns with hallucinations it would be worthwhile to discuss them with a psychiatrist but it would be essential to explain what else might be occurring as well, when they started and if they come and go or are present at all times.
