I'm not a doctor and neither is any of the people on this forum that I know of but you have to taper slowly off psych meds or else you'll probably go through withdrawals which are worse the higher the dose decrease is. You can't just stop taking them all at once. Chances are you'll probably have rebound psychological symptoms upon discontinuing these meds too. Some of them have a really short half life and clear out of the system very quickly and everyone is different so some people will experience this immediately while others will after a while when their body adjusts and still others will have a gradual transition from sane to insane. Everyone is different.
If you are having medication side effects speak to your psychiatrist about it. If a person has psychotic thoughts they are generally given an anti-psychotic. Speak to your psychiatrist about that as well and describe it in detail. Changing medications on your own could cause rebound symptoms and withdrawal side effects that could be dangerous. Let your psychiatrist describe to you what you should do and follow up.
