What causes violent shaking of the legs when standing up and start to walk. My knees shake so bad it causes me to fall, I can't hold my wait on them.

It could be low potassium, it could be atrophy and weakening of the muscles, it could be you have low blood sugar... there are numerous possibilities.  This is definitely nothing you would wish for and shaking, weak legs is something you should go to the doctor to get evaluated for (if you haven't already).  I hope you will- you're worth it!
