Systolic blood pressure too high

by Rob445, Jun 30, 2009 11:59AM
How do I lower my systolic blood pressure, it is running too high.  I usually have a readying of 135/70 resting but after walking my presssure is 151/75, it is should be no more than 140/70.  How can I get this down?  I need to pass a DOT physical to drive an 18 wheeler, it is imperative that I pass this test, because I desperately need the income.  Any help would be appreciated, please.  Thank you.

I have had open heart surgery and i would say that both your systolic, and dystolic are to high according to the cardiologist he will not accept any systolic that is over 120 which for an older person i think is wrong mine used to run160/70  now it runs about 112/55 have you been to the Dr and are you on B/P meds  luck  jo
