masturbation odor of partner

My partner and I just started having intercourse without a condom, now every time he masturbates he smells me. It's not a strong or nasty smell, however he's concerned.  He has never not used a condom in any other relationships.  He has no other side effects like itching, rash or soreness.  Could it be in his mind? Memory smell association?  I have no discharge or yeast infections and we shower after intercourse.

thank you for the reply,  it's not when he's with me, it's when he's alone.  Before there is any semen at all.  It when is starts masturbating , I told him maybe it's memory association.  Weird I know... we're back to wearing condoms and if it persists, going to doctor.

your question doesn't seem correct you said "every time he masturbates he smells me"
does he masturbate into your vagina?
Good question.  If you are finding the odor as part of sex, it might be a combination of his semen and your vaginal secretions.  If you have an imbalance of bacteria in the vagina, his semen will cause a fishy odor from sex.  Often, semen has an odor that resembles chlorine
semen characteristics do vary from person to person, month to month. Small changes in color, smell or taste are not necessarily cause for alarm, consult your doctor if your ejaculate has a strong, foul smell. This, too, could be a sign of a prostate infection
