My male lover likes to perform oral sex on me after anal penetration. Is this safe?

Hi, I want you to know that ingesting any fecal matter is a significantly risky action, EVEN if it is your OWN.  Feces contains bacteria, viruses, parasites, and toxins that are not meant to be ingested or otherwise introduced to the rest of the body in any way.  This is why it is extremely dangerous when a person's intestinal contents are spilled into the peritoneal cavity (the fluid-filled space between the walls of the abdomen and the organs inside the abdomen), or when fecal vomiting (yes, that means the vomiting of poop) occurs.  Our mouths, esophagus, and stomach are NOT meant to be exposed to the waste from our intestines (gut).  An example is E.coli bacteria--it is present in our gut to help digest food.  But it is dangerous to ingest E.coli--it is NOT normal to have it anywhere else in the body, whether or not it's your "own" bacteria--E. coli is E.coli, period. You are free to take the risk of serious illness (including bacterial, viral, parasitic, and fungal infections) and potential exposure to harmful toxins that are created by the breakdown of food by the good bacteria in our gut, as well as cellular waste (created by the death of cells); but if you really care about your health, you might want to wash your genitals before your partner performs oral sex, and vice versa.

depends on whos germs are on each of yours penis's. If his gut bacteria is on your penis and he is giving you oral, then he is fine. if you are giving him oral after he penetrates you, you are fine as well (since you cant really infect yourself with your own bacteria)  you cant really perform oral on yourself, and his gut bacteria is on your penis, that is where you have to be careful - if you are ingesting someone elses gut bacteria

no. this is not safe at all. There is a lot of bacteria and fecal matter in the colon and rectum that could make him very sick if he consumed any of it.
