recently me and my gf has been involved in anal sex with a condom but Recently we ran out of lube and have been using hand lotion..now i read online that it is bad but has no reason why...so im wonderin what are the consequences of participating in anal sex usin hand lotion.....we are both s.t.d free and hiv free...so can anything bad happen to me or her while using lotion?

The reason why lotion is not a good reason is because if it is not water soluble it could cause infections, just like jml1986 said. There is a reason why there is such a thing as lubricant. Use that instead of lotion, it isn't expensive either!
