Bleeding During/After Sex

I recently had the copper IUD inserted for birthcontrol purposes before moving in with my boyfriend. I had previously gone to the gynocologists and had the normal tests done and everything came back negative, and I was told that everything looks normal. After the IUD was put in, I did experience an increase in cramps and a heavier blood flow during my menstral cycle. It's been about 2-3 months since my IUD was inserted and I've been noticing some issues. About 3 weeks ago I had my period with the increased cramps and blood flow - but for some reason it only lasted 3-4 days (which isn't my normal length, usually my periods last 5-7 days). So I stopped bleeding, then a couple days later I started bleeding out of nowhere, but this time with no cramps or pain. I have been bleeding regularly (though not heavily) for the past 1-2 weeks. Sometimes I think I've stopped bleeding, then I'll have sex with my boyfriend and the bleeding will start again during sex and continue after sex too. I don't know what to do and I don't know if this is normal. I've only been with my boyfriend and he's only been with me. What should I do?
