Brown discharge from intercourse

Over the last month,  every time I have sex, I've had an excessive amount of brown, watery discharge. At first I thought it was left over blood from my period but I don't think it would last this long. My last period ended a week ago, but when I had sex this morning it was still happening. The weird thing is this only happens when I have sex. I have no discharge at all when I'm not engaging in intercourse. My urine looks normal. The discharge doesn't even look like blood it just looks like a light brown color, and not very think at all. im not experiencing any pain....anyone know what this could mean?

You may have a cervical erosion. It is not serious but you may need to have a Pap smear.

Hi,

The brown discharge (old blood) could be due to lack of lubrication and/or rough sex, which could cause light bleeding/spotting because of irritation within the vagina. Sometimes the brown discharge could be due to various other things also, such as contraceptives; irregular periods; a menstrual disorder; and possibly an infection. The best way to figure out what exactly is going on, is to see a gynecologist for an exact diagnosis ~ anything that becomes excessive should be checked out by a doctor...
