Katarina777~ not to sound rude at all: Your body takes at least 3 months to get used to the hormones in the pills, therefor it can make your period do all sorts of things, it may be lighter, heavier, longer or shorter. the key is to keep up on the pills and continue to take them after the 7day week of sugar pills... not after she stops bleeding cause then she could get preggo. :) but you were right, if she's really worried she should call her doctor for confirmation.
