Extended use of a vibrator

Ok I know I am unusual, as in when I masturbate I do it for a minimum of two hours. Once I start it is hard to just stop if I know there is a chance I can get just one more.... my issue is, is there any harm in me doing this? I used to only use my hand up until about a year ago when I bought a vibrator. I have always kept it going that long and sometimes as long as four or five hours, but since I have switched to a vibrator I am worried that I may be making it harder for me to do it other ways. Since I have gotten my vibrator I have come to like it very much and have not really had a desire to do it the other way, it seems to feel better and come easier and stay longer this way. But, I want my Husband to be able to help me without the use of the vibrator and am worried if I keep up this way the vibrator will be a must.... and since I started the other way it seems like about half way through I have to press harder than at the beginning to achieve the same affect. is this safe? is this ok? thank you for all of your advice and comments, :)

Not wanting to sound like a commercial soundbite... but, you might want to consider the Hitachi vibrator... it vibrates, rotates and the button/ switch stays on the "on" position when it's in operation; so, there's no chance of getting a "numb" or overworked finger.  "i"

Good suggestions! In general, I would recommend to include as many different ways of stimulation as possible (different types of toys, using hands, fingers, activities with your husband etc...) so that you don´t get stuck with only one way of getting aroused or reaching orgasms, the flexibility may be useful and it may be nice to have a broader repertoire of pleasurable activities...Good luck!

The Hitachi does have a great rep, but she is trying to involve her husband more, not replace him.

There is some possible of desensitization. Perhaps you should try other types of toys? you know there are actually toys that you can use that would make your husbands penis vibrate?
