GENITAL HERPES...Or what???

About May of last year, i had a big physical breakdown i am guessing it was.. i started bleeding form my nose a lot and got rushed to the ER.  A few days before that i broke out into a sore..on the left corner of my upper lip..it looked liek a cold sore..the doctor didn't run any testin on it buit told me he beleived it may be genital herpes.  I reda a lot information on it and it said that you would have a few breakouts a year, its been almost a year and nothing.  I have no issues when active sexually, no bumps or rashes, so i am not sure if it is herpes or my immune system was just in bad shape when i got the sore.

half the population has herpes simplex 1- oral herpes....guess what everybody? if you've had a cold sore on your lip, chin, etc- u have it! by age 50, 80% of the population has it. Type 1 almost always comes from kissing(even on the cheek).  Type 2 is usually on the genitals and appears as a blister which opens or breaks, gives off a fluid, and then crusts over as it heals.  It is possible to have type 1 down low, or type 2 on the mouth....just not as likely. The only way to test for this is by having ur doc do a culture on an open area or a blood test. don't believe me? get a blood test....

Most people who have herpes don't know it or they only break out once.  I had a blister on my penis and was tested and it came back positive.  That was 10 years ago and I had a break out that I thought was herpes so I got tested again.  The test came back negitive....so who knows.....I would still get tested.
