Had anal sex last weekend, now my anus is itchy!! Help!

I had anal sex for the first time with my current boyfriend. I have had anal sex before but I have not done so for a long time - like more than 10 years. The last guy I had anal sex with was not the biggest guy size wise and thus anal and any after effects save for maybe a little soreness - was never an issue.

However my current boyfriend is bigger (thicker) and uncircumcised. Anyway he was curious about anal - he's never tried it with anyone - and I told him I'm good with him trying. So last Saturday we did. We used a water based lube and I have to admit it hurt. So much so that after a few tries he stopped because he could tell that I was in pain.

But those few moments are now giving me grief. I had some loose bowel movements a few hours after we finished. I did see blood and mucus when I wiped down there. Happened once and nothing after that. The involuntary bowel movements seems over now. But now I feel gassy and my butt itches. I think I got an anal fissure down there.

What should I do?  I scheduled an appoitment with my ob-gyn but she's not available until this weekend. In the meatime this itching is driving me nuts!

What medicinal cream or ointment can I use on it till my appt this weekend!  I would appreciate thoughts and advise on this matter.

Again sorry for the gross topic but I'm desperate!

Thanks in advance everyone!

Try Calendula ointment and Calendula cream. Calendula is an amazing herb that heals and cures wounds, burns, anal fischers, cuts, warts, pretty much anything it works miracles and you can get it at sprouts and Whole Foods! Have you tried some type of diaper ointment? I am not sure if hydrocortisone can be used internally, double check instructions. Do you have an ask a nurse where you live?
Good luck ☺

Hydrocortisone can be used topically and is the main ingredient in most hemorrhoidal creams.

Use hydrocortisone cream for the itch. It'll help with any inflammation also.  Sound like he may have torn you a bit. I have an itch sometime after I've received anal especially from big ones. Advice for the future is take it slow and use plenty of lube and maintain control of the insertion. When I take my time, my top can pretty much go buck wild when I give him the go ahead.
