You both have got a yeast infection and you should, like remar says, be treated at the same time. Sometimes men do not get any symptoms.
Your doctor will prescribe you with something. But you can buy antifungal creams to use specifically on the genitals from the pharmacy. A one dose single capsule can also be purchased without a prescription, this is called Fluconazole. It may be cheaper for you with a prescription.
Do not douche, like remar says. This changes your pH level of your skin and can make things much worse for you. Do not use any feminine sprays and only use soap that has a pH level suitable for the skin or baby washes.
Using soap on the skin will dry it out and aggravate it.
Try not to scratch because that will thicken the skin causing other problems.
Make sure that you both eat a healthy and well balanced diet and drink water.
Make sure that your boyfriend washes his hands before he touches you and washes his hands after he has used the toilet. No doubt you do this.
Wear cotton underwear and don't wear tight clothing.
Sometimes people get an allergic reaction to latex condoms. You can get latex free ones these days.
Best wishes.
If you did have a yeast infection and treated yourself but your boyfriend did'nt get treated he could have given the infection back to you. Both of you need to be treated at the same time or this will keep happening.
I highly recommend that you do not douche. It can mess with the good bacteria and cause infections.
