I've never been wet in my life even when horny

Hi everyone. I'm 21 yrs old and a virgin. Even though I'v not had sex, I get intimate with my boyfriend. My problem is that even though I get extremely horny enough to have sex with him right then, I never get wet. I'v never experienced wetness in my life! Up until a while ago, I wasn't even sure I had a normal vagina cause all I could see when I parted myself was a wall of tissue which turned out to be my hymen and I located my vagina opening on the side. This is one of the reasons why I am yet to have sex. Even when we'r makin out and he wants to touch me "there", I never let him so he doesn't feel how dry I am. Am I alright, is there something wrong? I'd really appreciate some answers.

Seeker.

How old are you?  This is an old post, so don't know if the person is still around, but there are many reasons for a woman not getting moist.  In this case, the woman had never had sex yet, so she had no idea if she did have it if she would have responded by releasing vaginal secretions.  I'm guessing she did.  But as stated above, yeast infections can cause dryness.  So can thyroid problems.  So can hormonal problems.  Everyone has their own moral code, but the woman above also didn't say if she had ever masturbated, which would have allowed her to experience orgasm and see whether that got her wet.  I would think that anyone, male or female, who has never reached orgasm or engaged in any sexual activity other than becoming aroused doesn't yet know in the slightest how their body will respond when that time arises.
If you are in menopause or early menapause, this is something a lot of ladies have.  Or if you have a hormone imbalance.  Talk to your doctor. You may lack estrogen.  Are your period regular?  They do make a vaginal estrogen product that helps if it is because of the hormonal issue. Do you see a gynecologist?
Not to say this can't happen, but most women don't have estrogen problems, although they do often have progesterone problems.  Treatment with estrogen therefore should be undertaken only if it's truly the problem.  Thyroid problems can also cause this.  But I guess I just assumed as it was attached to this post the second poster was also someone who was quite young and hadn't yet engaged in sexual activity, but that may not be the case at all.  My main point is, estrogen can be a problem, but not nearly as often as it's diagnosed to be the problem, so always make sure the doc knows their stuff.
Menapause occurs and is always accompanied by a depletion of estrogen.  Vaginal dryness is a major menopause issue and they treat it with estrogen cream.  Know this from a reliable source so any women that is going through or post menopause should talk to their doctor if they have lubrication issues.  It's treatable.  And young women can go through perimenopause or have an imbalance.  It's a major reason for vaginal dryness, estrogen depletion.

I have noticed that you can have a slight yeast overgrowth and it will make things like the sahara desert.  I would suggest cleaning the area every day with a soap for sensitive skin.  when you shower.  Rinse well.  After you are dry, apply a little Lotrimin cream to the external parts.  Do this twice a day for two weeks.  The medicine is an antifungal that works on yeast, but the tubes say jock itch or athlete's foot.  Get the standard kind, not the newer, more expensive one that is quicker because that one has caused little skin bumps for me.  The reason I suggest this is because the OTC yeast creams are strangely irritating, and the gynecologists agree with this.  Bad formulas.  Anyway, at the same time you could take a probiotic to get your flora normalized.  Don't eat sugary foods or drinks as that feeds yeast.  Don't eat cakes, cookies, white bread.  Eat more vegetables, whole fruits and poultry, fish and meat.  Possibly even take an oral yeast product - AZO Yeast.  For lubricant, try a dab of 100% aloe vera.  Once you are through with the Lotrimin cream treatment, you can dab this on after every shower if you still feel dry, but I bet you will be better.  Oh, and all your underwear needs to be washed in hot water with carefully measured detergent and about 1/2 cup of baking soda in the water to kill the yeast.  Or bleach, but I don't like bleach cause it ruins things, especially when it spills.
