At the age 24 the most common thing which causes problems in sex life is low self esteem, anxiety, inability to trust your partner... I've had all of those and it was hard for me to work with them.

I remember my self back then, every time before intercourse I was a little concerned if I will or will not have an erection, and sometimes I was unable to achieve it.. It was all due to stress)) Now I know that) And I'm happy and such a problem does not exist for me... As I'm most probably sure will not exist for you too, with time))

Best wishes, John.

P.s. Severin wrote a great thing about pre intercourse stimulation it really helps a lot he is 100% correct.)))

I agree with the previous post. I just want to add one thing which helped me - both problems with erections (before or during intercourse) and premature ejaculation disappeared when me and my partner involved the enjoyment of non-coital sexual stimulation (giving and receiving oral sex, manual stimulation etc) - not just it helps with erection, but it also reduces some inner fears and pressure if both partners enjoy these activities - there is no pressure for erections (if the erection is weak, penetrative intercourse can get more complicated than e.g. oral sex) and my mind is not so focused on the necessity of erections, so paradoxically the erections are easier to be kept. As for premature ejaculation - if it happens, non-coital activities provide an effective way how to satisfy the partner after my ejaculation and it also increases the chance that I will get a new erection and will be able to continue also with penetrative sex.
But of course it depends on both partners - what they like, prefer and what their attitudes are, as well as it depends on the overall "atmosphere" during sexual intimacy.
There is one approach in sex therapy where they have this exercise: partners just should practise oral and manual stimulation during the sessions and there is a "ban" on penetration - sometimes they feel more relaxed and they have a huge desire for penetrative sex - in this case, they can "abolish the ban" and enjoy penetrative sex of course - so it can help...

Had the same problem at your age due to stress and anxiety. Maybe you should calm yourself and trust your partner?

Also stopped masturbating.)

For me it helped and resolved the issue.
