Hi,
I can honestly say that there are a lot more woman around our age who have this problem than don't. I am 49 & have tried to figure out a good method of increasing my lebido as I am almost done with sex.I have a very understanding husband, we have been married for 8 years & he is so patient, I really am lucky. I have been to doctors who say I am in perimenopause & this is one of the effects of hormone imbalance that many woman have at this time.Tried the patches, they do nothing. I don't sleep, I get headaches, I get fuzzy head, hot flashes ......you name it & I get it! generally I am very unhappy about it but unless you find a doctor who wants to advise you well then it is very hard.
I would suggest educating yourself, read about it as much as you can find. Ask doctors, friends, who ever will listen. The magazine "O" that  Opera puts out, well try the February issue, there is very usefull information in it. I hope this helps & good luck!
