My wife masterbate but denies

We are married for 18 years. Happily married, high school honeys. I love het to bits, and respect her very much. We are both proffesionals with a hectic schedule. We have intercourse about 3-5 times a week and she orgasms about 90% of the time. When she dont reach a orgasm she tells me so, and ask me to stop. She is a very honest person and religous. BUT.... Once in a while, say once in two months, i wake up during the night with her masterbating. The bed shakes, she's heavely breathing and her hand is between her legs. The problem is that she denies it happened. I told her that its not a problem for me as we have a very healthy sex life. I do it too once a while if i am stressed and cant sleep ( She knows). To make a long story short....I am confused why she denies. I dont have a clue how to handle this tiny thingie, but i hate the fact that there is  this area of our relationship which is not sorted out. Thanx in advance

Thanx newbay..... You certainly helped. I'm not worried at all about this. Its just that i'm not good with  "soft" issues. After all...we work together, so we see each other day and night. We  do everything together. Mabe its just her way of "me" time. Thanx again.

Well, i can't say i'm a complete expert in this area. But you say that your both 'professionals'... So maybe she's just ashamed or embarrassed. From the hectic schedule i would guess she didn't have close friends in her profession, so i doubt things like that wouldn't be discussed. You need to make sure that she knows it's okay for a woman to masturbate, it's not just a mans thing...
Although thats my theory there could be so many other reasons, like she might think that you would be upset and feel like shes not satisfied with the intercourse you two have.
I wouldn't worry too much. You just need to make sure that she understands how you feel about it.
I hope this helped..
