Need answers

Hi
I have a friend who is 18 years old and she just lost her virginity a couple days ago. she is freaking out because she said she bled a lot, she had some type of sack fall out, and she was bleeding for three days. Is this normal? What can she do to help this problem if she is afraid to tell her mother? Is there anything she can do from home? She also told me that she think the guy she did it with ripped her. We both need some answers please. Thank you

Every virgin bleeds the first time she has sex. This is normal. My sister recently got married and she has been bleeding every time they have sex. Sometimes its a little sometimes its a lot. No need to worry. She will be okay in a couple of days. If she still doesn't feel normal after a while she needs to see a gynaecologist.

Hi there and welcome.  When losing one's virginity, it is quite common to bleed and the bleeding can last a couple of days.  If it continues longer, then really====  then it is more concerning.   Sometimes having sex too early is playing with fire.  It can cause a lot of anxiety and emotional distress.  It's not always worth it and better to wait until we  are in a better place to handle the responsibility that goes along with sex.  Make sure to use condoms each and every time you or your friend have sex!My two cents any way.  There are also Planned Parenthood centers that offer low charge/free medical care to young women.  One doesn't need a parent to be treated there.   But I would guess this is just the normal bleeding that occurs.  good luck
