Occasional bleeding during foreplay

I have been dating my boyfriend for over a year now, and every once in a while I will have vaginal bleeding after he fingers me. I rarely ever bleed after we have sexual intercouse, the bleeding usually only occurs after fingering, even though I feel no pain. Also, the bleeding after foreplay does not happen every time, only every once in a while. I am a bit worried because this never happened to me before I started dating my boyfriend.

Any answers would help me greatly!

Lauren, yes that is quite possible. Do you think that's what happens to you whenever you bleed?

Diane, this happens to me sometimes as well. Is your boyfriend maybe fingering you too vigorously? It's very possible that his fingernail just scratched you and made a wound.

perhaps there is a open wound inside your vagina that has not fully healed and some of the time he fingers you he touches that wound and it causes you to bleed again. maybe you should visit a gynecologists so they can take a look inside your vagina.
