Pain during sex

So me and my boyfriend are sexually active but we are safe! For the past 2 weeks sex and when he fingers me has been painful on my lower left side and I have no idea why! Lately we haven't been able to do anything because its more painful than it is pleasurable! We stopped doing anything for a week to see if maybe my body just needed a break, but the other day he fingered me and it still hurt just as worse. I've been with him for over a yr and its never hurt. Any suggestions? And it's not his nails haha

Tis may be a sort of vaginitis,...use a vaginal suppostory or cream or both,..take a break from sex during medication ,, you will feel better,...
