Penile Yeast Infection won't go away?

I am a 26 year old male uncircumcised. Several months ago I developed what I believed to be a penile yeast infection. Symptoms included a white discharge, itchyness, red bumps usually only when itchy, soreness in the foreskin. Keeping it clean and dry and avoiding sex seems to help clear it up but seems to return quickly after. This has seemed to cause Balanitis which also seems to shrink the foreskin resulting in tears on it while pulling it back cause its so dry. On top of this I believe I tore my frenulum which still hurts during full penetration intercourse. I have had the same gf for over 3 years. Im looking for confirmation and any remedies. I have a doctors appointment scheduled but it just doesn't seem soon enough.

Tore it during intercourse, it felt like it tore and there was quite a bit of bleeding. I'm really not sure if I eat enough fat I have meat and veg every day which can be anywhere from beef to fish so I imagine Ive got a well balanced diet but if you could suggest a food or foods I should be eating that would be appreciated. She is not getting the yeast infections.

How did you tear your frenulum? (ouch!)  I don't think circumcision will help - the skin is dry and harbouring the yeast in the skin.  Do you eat enough fat in your diet?  not the HDL everyone is harping about - I mean the real LDL (bad stuff)  the skin needs LDL to maintain suppleness and prevent dryness - also get your partner to use plenty of lubricant - is she getting the yeast infections as well?  What a drag!
