Penis is sensitive, Burning while urinating. STD tests negative

Does anybody else have my problem? Hi I have been having some pain in my penis for over 2 months now. I have gotten tested for hiv/ghoneria and clymidia. All tests came back negative. I also have no sores on it. The tip is very sinsitive and red. It hurts when i urinate almost a slight burn. I have no sex drive anymore due to this problem. My scrotum itches and is very red and vainy. Itchy area when this first began all the way back to my anus. That does not itch anymore except for mostly my scrotum and sometimes my pubic region. No discharge or anything of that sort. can you help?

I know its been over a year now but if you havent fixed your problem yet its because the Antibiotics are most likley making it worst. It sounds like you have a penile yeast infection, which is an over growth of yeast in your body and when you take antibiotics it kills the GOOD and bad bateria in your body and allows the growth of the yeast (fungus). Thats the reason why you felt better after eating garlic. you need to start taking Probiotics (Acidopilus) to introduce the Good bacteria back into your body to fight off the yeast plus you need to cut back on the sugars and alcohol (yeast feeds off sugars and alcohol) thats why you feel worst after drinking. google candida you'll find all the info you need to get better.

Hi. So i went to the doctor and he said my prostate was a little enlarged but not bad. I had no sign of infection still from the urine test but he decided to put me on ciprofloxacin for 4 weeks. 2 pills daily of 500mg. Its been more than a week now and no improvement has been made. I explained how i was on test booster to him and he didnt seem to be worried about it. He also said that it should return back to normal eventually since there is no more infection...but it hasnt gotten better...the pain and sensitivity is still there in the tip of my penis, sex is still way too quick, and peeing still burns. I dont know what this could be

Hi there. So I am seeing my urologist this week.

Amazing thing happened though...I started eating a clove of garlic after every meal...in one day after one clove the sensitivity on the tip of my penis has gone down about 80%...how weird right?
Also the redness is pretty much gone and everything feels better. The burning while urinating is not gone but I am very pleased the other symptoms are retreating.

Thanks soo much for the info.

With the enlarged prostate...Do you believe it could be possible for my prostate to enlarge when i was on the test boost then block my urinary tract, giving me a uti?

Also the liver disease concerns me greatly because I only started having this problem when i started drinking on the test boost...could be linked

I will go this week to my urologist and get evaluated

I think you may be experiencing a case of too much testosterone in your system. Get it checked out immediately!!!!

High Testosterone Side Effects in Men
By Jessica Lietz, eHow Contributor .I want to do this! What's This? ..

High testosterone levels in men may be caused by genetics, pituitary gland problems or from taking testosterone supplements or anabolic steroids. Some side effects of high testosterone levels are temporary and resolve when testosterone levels return to normal, but other effects may be permanent and require medical treatment. Men with high testosterone levels should have regular medical exams, including screenings for prostate cancer.

.Baldness
High testosterone levels in men may speed up the progression of male pattern baldness, which is permanent and non-reversible.

Acne
The sebaceous glands in the face that produce oil can be overstimulated by high testosterone levels in men, causing facial acne.

Aggression
High levels of testosterone in men may cause aggressive behaviors, feelings of uncontrollable anger and rage, and violence against partners, pets and strangers.

Liver Disease
Long-term side effects of high testosterone levels include liver damage, especially when the testosterone is taken in the form of oral anabolic steroids.

Infertility
Infertility is a temporary side effect of high testosterone levels in men, due to reduced production of sperm and shrinking of the testicles.

Enlarged Prostate
High testosterone may cause the prostate to enlarge, which can result in pain and difficulty with urination.

Prostate Cancer
According to the Mayo Clinic, high testosterone may cause faster growth of existing prostate cancer or cause a new prostate cancer to develop.

Ok so the first time my friends mom who is a nurse got me azithromycin...this cleared up my problem.

The second time she sent me azithromycin...this was a z-pack (5 day packet of pills)
Then i went and got my std tests at the end of the week that i was on the z-pack.
Then the Dr. prescribed me with 2 doses of 1000mg azithromycin...this did not help either.

Yes I believe that I do also but it may be ammuned to the azithromycin now. Also about 2 weeks ago my testicles bagan hurting..another sign of infection?

Oh and thanks for all of your help, I really appreciate the concern.

Did the doc prescribed azithromycin a 2nd time for you or are you using old stuff?

If you been off for 2 months, stuff is slowly leaving your system and you're on the right track.

However, I think you may have an infection. If you tell your doc about that testosterone stuff they may think to run a test on your liver or kidney. You shouldn't be pissin alcohol with your urine. That sounds like your liver or kidney not breaking stuff down properly which probably was caused from the booster.

I have been off of it for almost 2 months now. And still no changes in my condition except less irritation but its still bad. Stopping masturbating probably helped that. Yea alcohol is deff not breaking down like it should be because it hurts worse when i drink and can immediately feel the burning sensation increase. So I completely agree with the alcohol not breaking down correctly. Also i drink over a gallon of water a day.

Ohh and my urine has a smell no matter how much water i drink.

I dont recall the name of the testosterone booster. I can probably find out if I call the store I bought it from and have them tell me. It was a natural test boost though. I did not think this would have an effect on me but both times I was on test boost i had these symptoms. The first time the symptoms were cleared up by azithromycin but this did not work the second time. Could whatever it is have become ammuned to the azithromycin?

dude, stop putting stuff on your penis. just leave it alone. A&D ointment or vaseline is fine. I'm not sure about the vodka situation but here's how you can conclude if it is burning your pee hole.

One night, drink plenty of water and go to the bathroom continuously and see how the pee hole feels

Next night, drink plenty of vodka, go to the bathroom continuously and see how the pee hole feels. If you get the burning sensation then your system is not breaking down the alcohol like it suppose to. Probably related to the testosterone booster.

You only stop taking it for 2 weeks but you've taking it for a while. Probably be a good month before that stuff really gets out your system. But I would drink plenty of water to help flush it out faster.

Definitely talk to your doc about that testosterone booster stuff you been taking. What's the name of the product?

Yes I will deffinantly have to talk to my Dr about the test boost. But also I stopped taking them 2 weeks after these symptoms started and its still all there. Hasnt gotten too much better and its been almost 2 months now. When I was on the test boost I drank for 6 days straight. I would have 15 plus beers a night...could this have lead to a yeast infection from the beer? Ive tried monistat and this did not clear up my problem. Currently I am using tinactin and spraying it on 2 times daily and washing my "area" 3-4 times daily. And I stopped drinking for the most part. But last night I drank vodka and today the burning hurt worse when i urinate. I dont know if this means it is an internal urinary tract problem or if it really is a yeast infection could the alcohol affect it also? even if it was not beer?

"But would these antibiotics clear up the cause of the symptoms im having?"
>>>>Yes they should.

"Oh also I would like to say that i was on testosterone booster while this all started...testosterone booster can enlarge the prostate which can back up the urinary tract...causing urine to sit there and maybe lead to a UTI???? Could this be the case? because both times I have gotten these symptoms, I was on testosterone booster. Could be the culpret."

>>>What do you need this stuff for? You only take testosterone stuff if prescribe by the doctor because they can determine how much testosterone you need. Yes this could definitely be the culprit. I remember I use to take over the counter sex pills from a nutrition store and after 2 months of using it my testicles and inner thighs would always have this inner burning sensation. I stopped taking that crap and within a couple of weeks, the symptons were gone. Leave that crap alone!!!

"Also since I have stopped masturbating, I feel as if Im backed up...when i get aroused i have a clear substance come out of my penis...this is just semen correct?"

>>>that is pre-***. When the penis is erect, semen starts to build up in the urethra. If you don't let it out, it will go back down but some of the fluids will still remain in the urethra. When your erect penis starts to go back down, the left over fluids rises to the top of the penis and starts seaping out. That is pre-***.... You can get rid of it if you just wipe it off or go pee.

>>> the girl grinding on you is probably not the problem. I strongly think its the testosterone booster affecting your groin area. A body is suppose to have a certain level of testosterone. Consult with your doctor about that.

Yes exactly. But would these antibiotics clear up the cause of the symptoms im having? they did not help at all. Also the doctor prescribed me another dose of azithromycin and that had no effect as well. Are there any other causes of these symptoms? Oh also I would like to say that i was on testosterone booster while this all started...testosterone booster can enlarge the prostate which can back up the urinary tract...causing urine to sit there and maybe lead to a UTI???? Could this be the case? because both times I have gotten these symptoms, I was on testosterone booster. Could be the culpret. Also since I have stopped masturbating, I feel as if Im backed up...when i get aroused i have a clear substance come out of my penis...this is just semen correct? It only happens when I have sexual thoughts or get an erection or partial erection.

P.S. appoximately 2 days before these symptoms started i hooked up with a girl...we did not have sex or even do any oral. but she did grind on me and it was on my bare penis...i then noticed her vagina had a terrible smell...could this be linked to my problem?

Why is this medication prescribed?
Azithromycin is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria, such as bronchitis; pneumonia; sexually transmitted diseases (STD); and infections of the ears, lungs, skin, and throat. Azithromycin is in a class of medications called macrolide antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.

>>>> I would say if you took this stuff a week before you visit the doctor, then YES the symptoms may barely show.

Yes I had unprotected sex about a week and a half prior to this experience. I do not have any discharge though which is weird?...I havnt masterbated too much since the problem started. I also had the same problem at the begining of last summer. I was given 2 doses of 1000mg azithromycin and it went away in 2 days. Could it be that the std is ammuned to the azithromycin after i got rid of it the first time? Oh also i took azithromycin a week prior to seeing the Dr and getting tested..could this be the reason that no bacteria showed but there was still red and white blood cells in my urine? I am at a loss with this. Any advice will help greatly...

Thanks,
Frank

go back to the urologists and have your penis checked out again. it still sound like a std that wasn't showing symptoms at the time you it checked the first time.

did you have unprotected sex and then started getting these symptoms?

did you get these symptoms after masturbating?

details...
