Please help

I am a 38-year-old insulin dependant diabetic; I have been using insulin for 22 years.

I have been in an intense 4-month relationship with a girl 10 years younger then I who lives over 20 hours away. So much of our relationship is phone, Internet, computer based.

The first time we met in person (after 2 months of talking, texting, etc) we got along so well, but at night I couldn’t rise to the occasion, the second time was better (it did rise but we didn’t act on it)

I have started taken Viagra and her and I started to share more dirty texts, talks and pictures
I got aroused a few times and it was magical,

Last time I visited her we again fooled around in bed (I had an erection) and she gave me an amazing ** but then she wanted to enhance the moment, after a few moments of looking for lotion, I lost the erection. The next day we tried and it rose with out the viagra but we got interrupted and had to stop.

SO now she has broken up with me, saying my penis doesn’t like her

That is so not true

Is there a medical reason? What can I do?
She means so much to me

I am sorry to hear about you and your friend. Does she know about your diabetes? Diabetes can cause circulation problems - which might explain your erectile problems. It sound like the two of you were getting along very well, but that she sees your erectile problem as a reflection on her. It might be helpful if you told her about your condition, how much she means to you, and how much you find her sexually attractive. There are ways to cope with erectile problems (and you were doing pretty good there - expect for the interruptions). If you are open and honest with her, the two of you may be able to continue seeing each other and plan your sexual encounters more carefully. Speak to your doctor about the erectile problems. There are many treatment options you can try. It might also help to let your friend know that you are seeking medical advice about this. She will see that you are committed to making things work between the two of you.

Best of luck...
