Red spots on penis ...

about 2 weeks ago i was having sex with my girlfriend and i somehow managed to cut a bit of my penis (not sure where but there was blood) and it was fine that night i just left it alone after clearing the blood and went to sleep, but since then there has been a strange sensation there ... the sensation started to go away after a week and a bit, but when i masturbated, there appeard quite a few small red dots on the head of my penis then they were tiny white dots, of course this worried me so i went to the doctor, but by then it had cleared up. he checked me over and said there was no sign of infection or anything (which is what i thought it would be) and told me it should be ok ... when i masturbated the next time it didn't appear and i was fine .. but then the time after that the red dots are back!! can you tell me what's wrong with me? am i right to be worrying? is this something perfectly normal or is it bad? the last time i had the spots they were gone within a couple of days .. the spots kinda feel a bit sensitive too ... worried here!

yes herpes are def sexually transmitted and HPV is the virus that can cause genital warts.

=)
i've only had a few sexual partners including my 1st and 2nd husbands, but i have always been interested in male and female organs and the horrid things that could happen, its why i chose to study STDs.

When the spots appear go to the doctors.
Spots/growths could be a sign of HPV or herpes - which is a virus that can come and go or not show any symptoms at all; which means that only by having visable warts can you diagnose and know someone has the disease.
