Roommate has herpes

my college roommate just found out she has herpes.....can i get them from her washing her laundry with mine, drinking from the same cup, sittin on the same bed, being close to here, sittin on the same toliet as her????? pleas help me i feel so weird around her i dont want to catch it..

you can only spread herpes by skin to skin contact during an active outbreak or when the virus is shedding. your not going to catch it by sharing things with her or sitting where she sits. I have herpes so im positive about that. go read some of the posts in the herpes forum if you need reassurance.
