SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Ok, So I was new to this whole "getting rid of pubic hair" thing. I decided, quite stupidly, to use veet hair removal cream. I don't think I applied it proply or anything. I may have cotton some of the cream on my clitorus. I removed the hair, and it looks UGLY! Just in case your wondering, I wanted to remove it because I was getting serious problems with iciness. Anyway, around the top of my vagina, it's a purple sort of colour and it looks hideous. The inside also started stinging a bit, but I put some cream on it which helped. I don't know what I was thinking I was incredibly stupid. Can anyone help me and tell me is the purple thing is normal and if I've done something really really bad?? Thank you!

Hi Creative, Have you done any damage? only time will tell, but in the mean time try some aloe vera gel, it will help sooth and heal.
Having a clean pubic area is a very healthy thing to do, but just give your self a couple of weeks, then try this, its called a razor and get your self some sensitive shaving cream, now how to shave you always shave downwards and never up, otherwise you will end up with ingrowers, now you will need to sit infront of a mirror to do this,  because your breasts will get in the way, so this is were you will lear to become ambidextrous till you get used to doing it, but once you get the hang of it you will be OK, then you will have a happy healthy vagina.
Good Luck

Just let it heal on its own if it try putting cold water on it. You don't want to irritate it anymore than you have too.

Thank you both of you! Ugh I feel so stupid. I don't know what I was thinking... How long will it take to heal and do you know when the hair will grow back? Thank you :)

Oh, sounds bad... for future reference though... most hair removal creams do say: for external use only, meaning don't use it around genital area.

It takes a long time to shave, but it's much safer than hair removal creams.

Hope you feel better soon!

Sounds like you irritated it really bad. I did the same thing with Nair and it gave me a chemical burn. It was raw. Ugh horrible experience.
