STD?

I kissed a girl last night at a bar and today my lip is a little puffy on the top left. It doesnt hurt or anything but its a little off color like the spots where its supposed to be lip color are my skin color. Im really scared. If anyone could tell me if this is some sort of STD id be really grateful. I only kissed her. I do have a cut on my lip that is always there its like a weakness in my lip its always cracked all the time 24/7 365 I heard if you have an open cut on the lips when kissing its alot easier to catch somthing. Please any feedback will be appreciated

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Having cuts on lips and indulging in kissing and oral sex can cause transmission of diseases. Firstly,It can be due to vit B deficiency.Take some vitamin B complex for some days and see if your symptoms improve.
Secondly,it can be due to atopic dermatitis or eczema("Atopic" refers to a group of diseases where there is often an inherited tendency to develop other allergic conditions, such as asthma and hay fever). Cheilitis(Inflammation of the skin on and around the lips)is often seen in atopic dermatitis.Diagnosed by bld test like RAST.Treatment is by topical steroids or oral therapy of corticosteroids in severe cases.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
