Actually I have no clue what the cost would be. I wouldn't imagine them trying to charge you much. Even if you need to go through your insurance, doing so and explaining the situation to your parents is much better in the long run than doing nothing and hoping that you didn't get infected with anything. Your parents would be more proud of you taking responsibility for your actions and your health, it's just the initial shock that you have to deal with. Trust me, get tested either way, no matter what you have to do. Some STD's can be asymptomatic and you can't tell that you're okay just because you feel okay. I know it's tough, but it's worth it.
Thank you. I'm hoping I got lucky just this one time now that I've obviously learned my lesson. I'm under 18 and I currently don't uav a job.. Do u know what the cost might be for that?
Thank you again for the help
Well planned parenthood offices are usually good and have very understanding people there that can help. If you don't use your insurance, you pay on a sliding scale, usually based on your ability to pay. You definitely want to get tested. You probably didn't catch anything, but it's best to know, it'll at least put your mind at ease. Trust me, I chickened out when it came time for me to get tested, but I'm glad I did.
