Sexual health after complications with vasectomy

I got a vasectomy about a year ago. While healing from the procedure I got an infection in the Incision and it spread to my penis. When I went back to the doctor because of the pain and puss in my genitle they put my on a wide range anti biotic for about 3 weeks. Since then I am having a difficulty getting an errection. Infact I dont get a full erection for about the last year. Could this be because of the infection. THe reason I am not going back to a doctor is no insurrance and very low income. Infact the vasectomy was at a free clinic. Please any help would be greatly a

The antibiotics wouldnt have caused permanent damage like that and it was a year ago so they are no longer in his system....

The only thing I can suggest is that the infection could of damaged some of the tissues in your penis, or there is the possibilty that it is a completely different reason, maybe something didn't go right with the vasectomy? However, theres no way of knowing unfortunately without being seen by a professional :(

So as your saying you have no insurance and not enough money at the moment.... can you not go back to the free clinic where they carried it out? Afterall, if this is the cause of something they have done then its their responsibilty.... also the infection could be their fault due to lack of good infection control procedures.

I would contact them and say that ever since you've had the procedure done at their clinic you've had this ongoing problem and you would like to be seen again to makesure everything went ok. But makesure you make it clear to them, that you did not have this problem until they did your vasectomy, and you feel that you have your problem now as a result of that or the infection.

Good Luck.

What are the name of the anti biotics you been taking? You can check those to see if it has any side effects pertaining to sex.
