Shaving Pubic Hair

Hi, I'm considering shaving my pubic hair but i have some questions before I decide. I have an electronic shaver that is a little older model and I was wondering... Would that cut my hairs down short enough (close enough) that I may get an ingrown hair? Also, would it make it itch when I shave it? If someone could answer these questions quickly and accurately that would be appreciated. Thanks!

ok first of all any unclean trimmers can cause an infection by new ones and keep them oiled and clean. shaving can cause a huge infection on occasion evan under the arms so make sure u use new razors each time so they are clean. the trimmers are great for getting most of the hair and not having to use 5 razors to get rid of it all lol good luck with your new do :)

My husband does the same as you he shaves in the shower every couple of days so it doesn't get prickly.

I keep myself clean shaven as much as possible. I enjoy the feel. It looks good to me as well. I shave in the shower with some soap or shave foam and a fresh razor. I often wondered how many other men keep themselves smooth?

I actually wax and find this great as it gets rid of all unwanted hair below the skin as well as it pulls it out by the roots, the first time really hurts I won't lie but after that if you get it done regularly ie:every 4 weeks it grows back finer and doesn't hurt when you get waxed.

I think that an electric shaver gives a nice, close shave with little to no risk of getting cut. It's the method that I use and recommend. And, almost any shaving method can leave you with a rash/ itch.
