Sudden shortened period of 2-3days from usual 5days , help !!

I have been skipping lunch for a month now . and i have also been slightly worried of being pregnant through fingering .
recently , just this month , my normal periods of 5 days became as short as 2-3 days. I usually have painful cramps but this month, the cramps were bearable . my periods were normal , and not heavy as it usually would be on the first day.
May i know if this is normal ? what can caused my periods to be shortened? and what can i do to make sure everything goes back to normal ? please reply soon ! thank you !

You don't need to worry about being pregnant if you were fingered! I am with lilbit_17, why are you skipping meals? This can definitely throw your cycle off, you need to eat and drink plenty of water.

If you are worried you should consult your family doctor or Gynecologist. I hope things get straightened out soon

I have been trying to lose some weight . But overall , I only lose around 1 or 2 kilograms , I don't think it is exactly considered losing a lot of weight . So I'm not sure if that is affecting my period and making it short too . I'm so worried ):

Why have you not been eating? I know that losing/gaining weight can throw off your cycle. Have you lost a good amount of weight in the past month?

I highly doubt you are pregnant from fingering. To give you peace of mind though take a pregnancy test. Women can have months where their periods are not normal. If this keeps happening you might want to see your Gynecologist.
