Tiger woods taking Ambien for sex??

Hi,
I was reading an article about Tiger Woods and his long list of mistresses and they mention that a couple of them, Rachel Uchitel and someone else, and said that he they took Ambien to improve the experience. Since Ambien puts you to sleep how can it be used to more stimulation? Also his wife, Elin Nordergren, gave the paramedics Ambien and Vicodin.
Doesn't seem to make much sense.

if u take ambien and force ur self to stay awake u get high and can even hallucinate
