Tiny pin prick size spot on head of penis

I was about to have sex with my girlfriend earlier and had an erection when I realized I had to urinate. While I was urinate I was pushing to get the urine out so that I could get back to business when I noticed a tiny spot of blood coming from the head of my penis.  It wasn't coming from my urethra, but rather to the side a bit.  I thought that between the pressure of the erection and the pressure of urinating I may have burst a blood vessel.  Any ideas?

Hi Nick sounds like you burst a small blood vessel near to the surface of your skin, was this jus under your gland/ head? but if its stopped and cleared up just take it easy for a week or two.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
It is important to determine the exact cause and source of this blood for correct treatment. Men with a prostate disorder may pass blood during ejaculation. Blood can appear in the toilet bowel from bloody stools instead of urination. People who pass blood from the urethra may not experience any other signs or symptoms. Urinary tract infection, kidney stones, enlarged prostate all can lead to blood in urine. It may be possible that you might have burst a   blood   vessel. If the symptoms are severe and persistent seek the opinion of a doctor. A physical examination and medical history can help diagnose the exact cause. Write to us again.
Best luck and regards!
