UTI Help.

Does anyone know if cipro will treat a UTI. cause i dont wanna go through all the **** with the doc. i have cipro here but am unsure to take it or not.. help !?

yes, antibiotics do cause you to get yeast infections. to avoid this there is a great product out there which you can get at the pharmacy called Culturelle.  Cipro is not the right medication to give for a UTI even if it works. Septra is one and then there is another. if you get those UTI's often, my doctor told me you can prevent them by taking one pill each time you have sex. of course, this only makes sende if you only have sex occasionally.

It did help me several times with my UTI problem, but the last time I took it, I got yeast infectiion-it's even worse than UTI.  When I went to doctor, he said it most probably because I took antibiotics (cipro)- It killed my good bacterias. My advice, don't treat yourself, go to doctor for the right dose of meds. Good luck
