Vaginal bleeding during sex

Hi, I'm 17 and just had sex for my first time on Thursday. It is now Monday. I'm very tight and the sex was extremely painful, so I expected some bleeding. What I didn't expect was to be dripping blood. But I figured It was just my hymen being ruptured. However, the next day we tried again, and the same thing happened! Can someone please comment back and tell me if this is normal, and when/will it stop? I'm very nervous. There is no bleeding after intercourse, only during. I don't think it's an STD, as I was a virgin and he has only had three previous partners all of whom are clean. As is he. Any knowledgable medical advice or reassurance would be appreciated

It's not uncommon for a women to bleed AFTER the first time. It's possible the hymen wasn't completely torn, it's possible the sex was too rough, it's possible there is some vaginal tearing due to rough sex or being "stretched". As long as it's not EXTREMELY painful and you're not bleeding through a pad in an hour -really there's not too much to worry about.

Just make sure you're still using condoms- no birth control is 100% and I've got plenty of horror stories to attest to that fact.
