Hello,
Discharge is the vagina's way of cleaning itself. stickiness is normal. The smell could be an infection. I would advise you to make a Doctors appointment.
Hello,
Going by your symptoms, it looks like bacterial vaginosis to me. It is the most common cause of abnormal vaginal odor and discharge. It is caused by a change in the type of bacteria found in the vagina.
In addition to unpleasant "fishy" vaginal odor, thin white or yellowish discharge from vagina may also be present. Other than that STD’s should be ruled out if you are sexually active. Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
You might have a bacterial infection. It's different from a yeast infection. The discharge is usually watery and you don't always have the itching and burning. See your gynecologist to find out if this is what's going on because if it is you'll need treatment.
