Hello, my fiance of 9 years develops red, rash like bumps, that itch intensely, on the head of his penis, usually a day or two after we have sex. Sometimes i get a little itchy too, but after applying a vaginal itch cream it subsides. My fiance, on the other hand suffers for days, sometimes a week with his symptoms. Any suggestions?
These red rashes like bumps after sex could be due to any allergy or infection. Folliculitis, boils, cysts, fungal infection all can give rise to red rash like bumps and itching after sex.Don’t pinch or pop them. This can lead to scarring and spread of infection. Since your partner too is having itching there is a possibility that it could be due to irritation from sex and sweating. Maintain hygiene and get it seen by a urologist. It doesn’t seem like any STD but a medical opinion will be really helpful. Do write to us again.
Take care and regards!
