Why am I bleeding?

So I skipped the placebo pills on my birth control pack and started a new one immediately, and never got my period. That same day I had sex for the first time, but it was very painful and uncomfortable and I have been bleeding ever since. It has been 6 days and there is a still a pink and clear discharge sometimes mixed with actual blood. Is this spotting my period or was something damaged? I broke my hymen many years before, and when I've used a large vibrator it has caused no pain, so I don't think the bleeding is the hymen tearing.

I hope this is a lil helpfull. I was a hyper sexual active teen and engaged in sex at a young age. About 5 yrs after losing my v-card I had sex and bled for 8 days straight aling with the same discharge you discribed. I went to my gyno & had test ran(?) run(?) Nothing showed up on the test OR on/in my vaginal region. My gyno explained that hormones can sometimes spike or drop do to a variety of reasons (stress, change in birth control, anxiety, & so on). IF this was the first time skipping the 'fake' birth control pills (or not your first time) it can take some time for your body to adapt. It sounds like you threw your hormones out of wack. They will calm down & go back to normal eventually. If the discharge last more than 10-14 days it woukd hurt to go see your gyno. Lke my gyno told me "even with all the medical discoverues and equipment the female body is still & will stay a mystery" Yay for us women, right? lol.
